South Kerry Childcare Network
The South Kerry Childcare Network aims to co-ordinate childcare services in the South Kerry area and improve information between the various childcare services and agencies in the area. It has brought together representatives of Community and Private Playgroup facilities, the Irish Pre-school Playgroup Association, Naíonra, Southern Health Board, Public Health Nurses, The Parent & Toddler Network of South Kerry, IBEC, Childminding Ireland and South Kerry Development Partnership.
Objectives of the South Kerry Childcare Network 1. To share information, ideas and experiences regarding childcare issues 2. To share resources for the development of quality childcare 3. To build alliances and lobby in order to influence childcare policies and practices 4. To identify and share good models of childcare practice 5. To encourage access to childcare training, exposure to other childcare experiences, practices and work culture 6. To promote childcare issues in the wider community |
